Photoballet® is not a fan site for BBT, nor is it a scrapbook collection of images. Photoballet® is about photos. Photos that have to live up to a photographic quality that I can feel proud of, and that you would display to show the beauty of your favorite dancer, scene or performance.

Of course, it is also about ballet. Just as BBT sets high standards for its dancers, I will try to do justice to that standard. I have been taking pictures of the performances for several years, but only recently have I had the higher quality equipment to provide a good print. The older performances therefore have less pictures and they are of a lower quality. I did want to include some of them because they may offer you an memento of a memorable performance. For that reason too, I will try to have photos that showcase all dancers. But as in casting, exposure here is not equitable either. There will be more images of some, and too few of other dancers. This is no reflection on the quality of the dancer, but rather on my ability to have captured them.

I hope you enjoy these images as much as you enjoy the performances. Please feel free to give me feedback on the site, the pictures, and if you order any, the quality of the actual prints.
